What are you looking to do that you are looking at dispatching services? This seems very low for what a good dispatcher would need to do. The hours it takes to dispatch a singel truck that person would be making minimum wage it they are on the up and up.
-
I am SURE they are dispatching MORE than one truck, therefore $500 a month multiplied by multiple trucks equals an income.
-
I'm talking about the time it takes to PER TRUCK to do what they are offering. 10 hrs per week, minimum.
I'm a percentage pay carrier and we are looking at 5-6 trucks per office person. And we get economies of scale in not having to fill out packets for every driver with just a single broker.
I think there is value in a dispatch service for an independent O/O. But you have to be real about the amount of work that goes into find a good rate, contracts, load confirmations, invoicing, collections, etc. -
This is interesting, I think if I were actually considering this I would ask for some phone numbers of there other clients.( for what its worth) I would think by talking to them you would be able to tell if they were sincere o/o. Just a thought

I was going to use them to dispatch my truck seems too good thoe I mean most charge 10 to 12% perload I only have 1 truck and trailor for now and my wife is going to school to learn this so I figured it might be away to go until we get the hang of it the price is with own authority with out you pay 500 plus 10% for use of another drivers authority
-
That is high. We give 89% to truck under our authority with weekly pay. 10% plus to just run under authority is a great deal for a carrier.SCHULTZ Thanks this.
-
89% and paid weekly is incredible! Hope your O/O's realize the deal they have with you. I am assuming you are two weeks behind in paying them.
-
Loads in by Friday pay the following Friday. If they cover own fuel and willing to wait to be paid when we get paid then our is 92%. So 3% for factoring and fuel advance.
BigJohn54 Thanks this.
