Hey Gdyupgal are you from MT? If you are who I'm thinking of I've worked a couple frac fills with you and your husband when Minot and Watford was on the same ones....I can't remember the names of the sites but I think it was north of Newtown...

 

Thanks for the great information. I would love to work for a company like Power Fuels. But am not sure if if Power fuels would hire me with no experience.

I am a CDL Class A driver with all endorsements. So I am looking for a company that will hire with no experience but that is looking for a driver that who is a quick learner and is willing to work under any adverse conditions. Someone who wants a proven performer. No tickets, no arrests, no drugs.

I will admit I was misinformed regarding power fuels pay scale but my other posts have been accurate. There are many, many more "newbies" making $20 something per hour than you realize. I talk to them everyday out there. Also, Missouri Basin has a larger fleet than Power Fuels. Power Fuels obviously has a better program than MBWS but MBWS has more trucks. And I know Megan wouldn't tell me rates for HESS over the phone. That is the point I was making, not regarding pay/benefits.

 

gydupgal, I live in Fl right now but I want to come to the oil patch, I have X endorsement, right now I drive a Bulk Tanker hauling dry cement, pay is terrible . I havent been on here enough to send a private message but I am very interested in working for PF, if u can send me ur email I'll send you my info . I am a newb fresh out of trucking school with all endorsements. I will be faxing my application out to Power Fuels very soon. They sound like an excellent company to work for. I'm sure that I speak for many of us 'oil patch hopefuls' when I say THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your information on this forum. It really does help. I have my applications in at Missouri Basin as well as Hamm & Phillips, so between the three companies I am hoping for a job as soon as possible. Thanks again and wish me luck!!!!!

Are you positive about this statement? I am far from discouraged when I read anybody's statement. I am going up there, applying for a job, and getting one - period. Nobody is going to discourage me at all, in fact, when I read statements like this, it makes me that much more determined to do what others are just dreaming about while sitting in front of their computer screens... I agree completely . . . I will also be heading up there soon to go get myself a job. There are absolutely no motel/hotel rooms available to stay in, but bring it on. I ain't scared!!!! I'm not leaving without a job.
