    Thanks man.

Why do you say that? Just curious is all.

If you mean don't lease the truck through the Carrier I definitely know NOT to do that. If I lease a truck I'll be buying through a dealer, financing through my credit union, and THEN leasing onto the carrier. I don't want the carrier to own my truck while I'M making the payments on it.

    BINGO.

LoneMountainTruck leasing is a good place - or if you save $ over the next few years,
buy a truck on your own.....then you don't have to sweat the $600+/week that some of these guys face.

    I can't even imagine that :biggrin_2554:.

See my stuation is perfect for that. I live with my dad at the moment. As a company driver I'll be trying to save as much money as I can so i can buy my own truck. LoneMountainTruck is where I was going to go if I decided to lease. They were actually recommended to me by a Roehl O/O.

I do want to own my own truck, as in Buying it out right. No payments, no leasing. I've found quite a few good trucks on truckpaper dot com and they have a some really good deals on used trucks.

I found a '98 Freightshaker Classic XL with a rebuilt 10-speed, rebuilt DD60 series 500. It was certified with a truck dyno and the interior/exterior were in great shape for under $25k. If anything I could save up as much as I could then maybe finance the rest of the amount.

That'd be cool. Where did you graduate from school if you dont mind me asking?

I graduated from NTI two days ago. I gave my classmates the link to this site. So I didn't know if you might be one of the people I went to class with?

Yeah me too had originally hoped for sooner date but had an injury in July to my head and it was a workers comp claim from my old job so I had to get the comp doctor to send them my release paperwork for safety reasons but eager to get going hope I make it there the same time as you will find out Tuesday

Sounds good! I'm really excited to start my career in this field.

When the time comes around for becoming a Double O then I might try to buy my uncles truck. He'll be retiring in a few years from Walmart.
