I just spoke with Tradewinds in Bardstown, KY and found nothing but good things when I spoke to drivers there...I even heard while I was in a room waiting someone bring a payroll issue to a higher up, the higher up said, "it looks like we overpaid him about $90, don't worry about it"...I was there last Friday just to see about the "home every weekend thingy" and I saw 2/3s of their trucks there(40-45 out of 65 or so) or arrive while I was there...Some of course stayed out for whatever reason and others just hadn't arrived yet...When I went there 2 days ago(Tuesday) the place was a ghost town except for the dispatchers and they were busy!...I think this terminal focuses on alcohol from Jim Beam, JD and Maker's Mark so even in a bad economy, it looks pretty secure!


I told them I'd think about it thru the week....I've been home every night recently but my current company's main focus is hot asphalt and heavy metal, when the weather turned, the asphalt loads dried up and being low man on the seniority pole, well, you can get the rest...

I had heard that the 2 terminals, IN and the KY one are like night and day, from what I've read here, I may be banking on it...I'll post my decision and why or why I didn't decide to drive for them...

 

The 2 Tradewinds you speak of have nothing to do with one another. If there is one in KY, it is probably legit. The one in Arcadia is run by idiots

You have to be ouut of your mind if you belive anything tradewinds tells you. especially for M. DECK. HE IS THE BIGGEST JOKE THAT EVER WALKED.. THEY take your money, you will never own your own truck unless your kissing butt. D. Josephson is about the only one that seems to have any kind of sense.... they did file bankruptcy , never told the drivers, instead the took the drivers that were doing lease purchasing. and put them as company drivers without telling the drivers.. AND YOU SAY THAT THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY? NONE OF THE DRIVERS GOT THEIR MONEY BACK FROM WHAT THEY SPENT ON LEASE PURCHASE...AND THEY EVEN KEPT THE MONEY IN ESCROW.....
