At,
From what I've been told if ya don't have enough experiance with flatbed for Keen they will send you there to get experi. Saw 1 of their trucks today in the Petro in Paulsboro,Nj when I stopped 4 fuel. Guy was pulling a lowboy trailer.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
Cressler/Keen was top notch last I heard, I talk to a few of their drivers now and again when I was doing the oversize thing, we all had to shut down early for curfew so you sit and chew the fat, everyone of them was happy. I called them and all would be good to go but I live about 400 miles south of the hiring area, told them if I ever move back north I'll call again and was told please do!!
Good luck if you head that way AT!!American-Trucker Thanks this. -
Runningman drove for Keen and he lives kinda in your region AT (sc if i remember correctly). Hopefully he'll see this and give his input

I worked for cressler about 8 years ago and they sucked. I probably could have made more money flipping burgers at McDonalds. I gave my 2 weeks notice, on my last day ( Friday ) I was doing an LTL load around Ohio and Indiana, they told me to reload outside of Chicago and bring it back to the yard so I could clean my truck out. I told my driver manager that I wouldn't make it to the pick up before they closed. He said don't worry somebody will be waiting for you. I hammered down to my pick up, and the security guard looked at his watch and shook his head no. I said somebody is here waiting for me, he said everybody is gone until Monday. I sent a message on the quelcom and they sent me a message back saying "looks like you got screwed". So I called dispatch and he said " well I guess you got screwed now didn't ya, find a place to park because we won't have a load for you until Monday or maybe Tuesday. So I drove to Gary Indiana and found a driver heading towards my house and let the truck sitting at the T/A. I was nice enough to tell them where the truck was and that I didn't get screws. At the time I had been driving trucks for about 16 years and never thought that I would leave a truck sitting somewhere like I did.
