now I am in north charlestone SC picking up paper at Kapstone....expected a preloaded trailer...but no I have a live load...and I had to back up to their dock waaaay in the back...oh did I mention you can only get to it backing in...and it was about a 500 meter straight line backing exercise with obstacles like fences and telephone poles in a narrow ### alley...oh the joys of trucking...plus it looks like I am not going to make it very far because i have 2 hours left on my clock....grrrrr

Could be worse, I had a blind side to back inside the biulding Monday. I nailed it, I do better blind side with an audience than I do sight side with no one around......makes no sense to me.

Ok my first van load sucked. I got to the place and they had this down in the ground dock outside, he said that it would rip off the things on the side of the trailer (those aerodynamic panels under the new vans). No pallet jack, had to chain each pallet and drag them to the edge. On top of that chain wouldn't fit under pallets without putting a shovel blade under then pushing chain through with other arm. It was a full trailer of snow blowers stacked nearly ceiling high on pallets. Good times.

Also as of now I'm home until Friday morning. Not a good time but life doesn't care what works and what doesn't it just throws stuff at you and you deal or you don't.

Murfreesboro, TN tonight and then onward to Atlanta in the morning. I'm running about 5 hours ahead of schedule. Dispatch hasn't determined if I can deliver this early or not. I really hate being dispatched at 50mph...LOL!
