Lol it says NOTHING about monthly

3900-4400 / hour x 57 hours / week.. i'll take it -
I think the decimal point is missing in front of those numbers?

So I'm not sure about Alberta in the oil patch, but according to the news today there is an absolute boom in Chetwynd for coal.. found this ad on kijiji, but it sure doesn't say much - I've written to them, to find out more details..
I'll keep everyone informed when i find out which company (its probably for Walter Coal, as they have 3 large contracts there)
Full Time work.
This is a Coal Haul base in Chetwynd
Room Provided
10 Days on 5 Off Rotation
$3600 per 10 days based on all your loads (3 loads per day )
Trucks are double shifted.
Drug test and Mine orientation must be completed before Jobs will be offered full time
Also At least 2 days of training in the truck..
If you need more info please email. -
That sounds pretty good..... But everything does at first
. Sounds like 12 hour days maybe days or nights. Wonder what happens if you don't get 3 loads in the day lol. I'm not sure I could live on a rotation like that. After about 2 days I get restless. With this job I usually get enough time off on the weekend to do a reset and I usually spend a couple hours of that time back at the yard cleaning the truck and fueling it for the next week. Wish I could work 30. Days straight lol

Ps, its not just alberta with a booming oil patch. Check out saskatchewan and manitoba too. I'm staying in a small town in sasakatchewan tonight that's booming because of the oiil patch. 700 bucks a month just for a room in someones house I saw.

Well you'd think you're probably not driving very far.. There is a lot of work up that way.. checking northern bc (north of prince george to dawson creek).
Also, I'd suspect the road would be in pretty clear, well travelled condition. Chetwynd is a long way away from home for me.. says 13 hours on google maps to Kamloops - a round trip to home would near blow that 5 days off - I'd rather just stay up there I guess.
There seems to be plenty - Nate I'm assuming you have your HB2 Ground Disturbance and CPR-C? I have the cpr but not the HB2, would you reccomend getting it before I left ?
