Hey-How is everyone?I stumbled across this site looking for info on trucking cos.I've trucked long enough and done different things(Wrecker, oversize, general flatbed freight, dry vans and reefers)48 states(only one i haven't seen is Maine)and drive for a greenhouse in Willcox doing his transporting.
I guess for trucking i have it pretty soft.A 2007 Freightliner Columbia condo and two 53 ft Utility reefers. All Penske lease with a new Volvo tractor on the way.Penske SOS has me spolied when it comes to breakdowns.
I work for a really good guy.Leaves me alone and lets me do my job as i see fit and pays me really well.I go from Willcox to Loveland,CO with tomatoes then to Coors to drop and hook out to Albuquerque,NM then dead head back to Willcox.Right now it's slow on the tomatoes so i'm playing farm truck driver taking his other crops in the fields to where they go.Pretty much local and staying in a motel.
I'm not really looking too hard for somewhere else to go though it never hurts to have an idea what's next.I've read through a lot of posts so hopefully i can fit in.Take care.Brian
