Well from what it looks like everyone is going to be stuck with them. And like anything new, there are going to be bumps and glitches. But eventually they will get worked out and you'll learn to live with them.

Or, if they screw up enough big trucking companies to get the lobbyists going, they will eventually do away with them so the companies can go back to screwing with the system and the drivers, just like they do now. . .

 

And whos fault is it that you waited until the last minute to park? You should have parked at the safe haven 30 miles behind you instead of violating your logs to find your favorite truck stop.

 

oh please like truck stops are perfectly spaced out like that. And the DOT says i can drive 11 hours not 10.5 so why stop .5 hours early ? just in case? Have fun paying your bills with your Just in case

And you get paid by trip miles, not by how miles you run total. Shutting down 30ish minutes early does nothing to hurt your wallet.

 

In some areas of the country and some towns, you might have to stop 2 hours early in order to guarantee a parking place.
