Snow is fuuuuuuun to drive in.

I love experimenting different ways to hook up my trailer.

: drive straight towards trailer and get up to 18km/hr, slightly turn to the right, pull air brakes, ### slides out, kicked it into reverse, put air to brakes, hammed down with a perfect hookup that looks pretty fkn awesome!

If conditions were as described you had no business passing. Just dont get stupid, take your time. And park it if need be. Do not listen to dispatchers, be your own judge as to what is safe.

I met him once at Bird's Eye in Darien, WI. We both had "open" appointments and ended up sitting there all day, lol. Nice guy! Turbo is the one ya gotta look out for, lol. :biggrin_2555: j/k

I did 3 times last winter!!! One time was from the chain up place on I-84 just east of La Grande to Arrowhead, destroyed one side and lost the other on the trailer, chewed up 2 mudflaps on trailer (this was a brand new trailer on it's maiden voyage) and blew one on my tractor, the last time I was empty but I was tired of sitting in Reno. The iron can stay on the rack this season!!!

It is just a part of the job. Know when to roll, know when to hang it up for a few hours. EVERYTHING is on an "easy does it" basis, whether it is accelerating, slowing or turning.
