http://www.campingshowerworld.com/advanced-elements-summer-shower-5-gallon.html ..... This is what i am thinking about just so there is an idea...not a bunch of water needed and just a quick shower. Some of them even heat up by batteries

You should fuel often enough to earn a shower credit at least every 2-3 days.
And sitting in a truck driving, you don't get really dirty very fast. A shower every 2-3 days should suffice. Wet-wipes for in-between times...
Well, unless you are working oil fields, or flatbed, or any other number of things that might be dirtier than drop-n-hook OTR stuff.
A little trick I like to play...
If I am given a fuel stop at, say, a Love's (they don't have very nice showers) - I'll just skip that fueling and drive on. When I get near empty I'll send a QC requesting fuel. I usually get sent to a Flying J/Pilot or TA/Petro, which have much nicer showers.
As for a portable shower, why go through all the headache?
And really, where are you going to set it up to use it? Can't do it inside the truck.
Between trucks in the truck stop? You would probably be arrested for indecent exposure, or disturbing the peace, or being a pubic eyesore or something.Ops85 Thanks this. -
I am looking to get into the Flatbed division. From what I've been told very dirts sweaty job...Just brain storming to see what I can incorporate into trucking from my motorcycle trips... Thanks for everyones answers...

With truck parking? Never saw one of those.
The secret to truck stop showers, like driving, is to do it when others aren't doing it. -
Get your cards from TA, Love's, Petro/Flying J. When you fuel the minimum, you get a free shower. I know that JCW fueled over 100 gallons at a fuel stop the other day, and got 2 credits. Otherwise, yea, $10 or so. Frankly, using the "portable" shower is a bad idea. Lots of laws against being nekkid in public, even if you are "surrounded by a curtain." Not to mention, you will run into more inclement weather than not. "Gee, sorry, haven't had a shower since October and it's February now, but it's been too cold outside to take a shower," isn't really gonna work.
I do not believe that you can actually utilize the facilities at State Parks, no where to park that rig, not to mention the vast majority of them are NOT on the shipping lanes. Go out of route that much, someone is gonna be REAL unhappy with you.
A 2-wheeled motorcycle can get in a LOT of places an 80' rig can't. There really isn't much of a comparison there. And you can probably put more stuff in the rig. -
Drive one of these:

I never get 2 credits for one fuel stop when I go over 100 gallons. I feel jipped lol

Those little bag showers work great if you are camping - and have time to set it out all day in the sun to warm... hopefully you won't be sitting for that many hours just to get a shower. I also agree with others 1) no parking for semi's at the camping areas - even those right off the highways 2) fuel w/the rewards cards and you will earn 'free' showers 3) the showers very from decent to OMG - but for the most part they are as clean as any you would find in any public area - and they have hot water you don't have to wait hours for with parking available

I see that you said you are a into bike touring, me too. I use a Surly Long Haul Trucker. (not a joke) Thinking about changing to the Surly Big Dummy for longer off road tours. (also not a joke)
I had the same idea but don't think it's practical just because the amount of setup it would take with tarps ect. But I think if you found a vacant road side or secluded lot you could use the Cat Walk for the shower.
