If you are on heavy doses of OxyContin you should probably get the underlying condition taken care of before embarking on your trucking career! -
Zantac will cause false positives on a drug screen. When a drug screen is given it is not looking for the drug it self, but the chemicals the body releases when it processes it. Hence why the question is asked "Are you currently on any medication?"
-
are you for real guy? I have and never will be a drugged out loser. The only things I take is what docs prescribe to me. im on pantoprazole and citalopram, one is an acid reducer to treat reflux and the other I take for stress management. -
Go to your Doctors office, and ask them to pull one up for you.
The list does exsist, because I have sen it. Ask the D.O.T. if you have to.
Everybody has a Department of Motor Vehicles....go ask them.
What do you want from us? Do your own #### homework for the love of God.
This site is but ONE tool....if you don't find your answer here----look elsewhere.
I was on Amitriptyline at one point in my career, to stave off MASSIVE migranes. However; the drug is "commonly" used as an 'antidepressant---and fell into #3 catagory of D.O.T. approved (or unapproved) drugs, and is disqualifiable if used as an antidepressant.
All I was required to do, was have my family doctor (whom prescribed it to me), fax a letter to the Doctors office where my D.O.T. physical was being done, AND the trucking company that I was taking the pre-employment D.O.T. physical for; explaining that the drug was used for migrane control....and not as an antidepressant.
Passed the physical, and got the job. The Clinic, gave me a copy of Class 3 (disqualifiable) drugs, and told me to carry it with me, so I can show D.O.T. officers in case the drugs were found in the truck during an inspection.
So the list DOES exsist, and CAN be obtained.....but I can't get it for you....you have to do SOME things for yourself. -
Any current CR England employee know if they allow you to be on anti depression meds?
-
There are plenty of companies out there beside Swift. Personally I think they did you a favor.

Let see you can't keep digestive juices in your stomach and you have to much stress. And this is BEFORE getting into a OTR truck.
I think Swift was really trying to help you into a different career choice. -
Are you trying to say the OP "doesn't have the stomach for it"? LOL!!!
