Well patience paid off I guess. After waiting about 4.5 hrs I got a load picking up in Avon, NY going to Jacksonville, FL. Almost 1200 miles. If they can get me a good run out of there in a timely manner it should make for a good week.

D/H'd to Albany from Jacksonville. Gotta pick up a load at GP in Cedar Springs, GA going to West Chester, OH for Monday delivery. Start home time Tuesday, so looks like I'll be in there a day earlier than I wanted. But atleast I'm getting in there. Have a safe weekend all.

Sitting here at the T/A in C'ville surfing forums, people watching, etc...Thought I would share something I came across which is a very good idea and I had not thought about. It would be a good idea to get a Carbon Monoxide tester/alarm for your truck! You would never know if your exhaust or bunk heater was leaking into your cab. Checked Walmart site and they have them for $20. Would be a cheap investment that could save your life.
I love people watching. It can get comical. It's 10 pm here so it's dark. The parking lot is pretty well lit up. A dude comes walking by with one of those lights that you strap on your head. He's walking around like he's lost, lol. -

Sorry man, I pulled out early this morn. I'm sitting in Florence, KY now. I have to deliver north of Cincy in the morning. Maybe I'll catch a load through there before you get done with training.

Well guys my first week solo is in the books didn't go to bad finished with 2377 miles for this week. When I picked up my truck in trenton I made 3 runs to get me home so I could get my truck set up. First load was from trenton to belleville il and it was a drop and hook. Had a preplan to pickup in st Louis going to kokomo in. Had a hard time finding the bud place even with the qc directions but after a couple wrong turns a 13-4 bridge I finally found it. Anyway delivered the next day and got a load from lapel in going to albany ga but was told to drop in cartersville grab a empty and head home. While there I seen baritones truck was going to stop and meet you but I looked in and you were watching tv I think so didn't wanna be rude so I just headed home after I stopped at the blue beacon to get the truck washed. After a few days at home got a load to pick up in cherokee going to roanoke va. Got there a day early and got the no loads available today so I went down to the t/a and called it a day. Next morning got a load to pickup in ridgeway va going to trenton dropped that and had a preplan from trenton to capitol heights md. Stopped at the pilot on exit 22 and woke up the next morning to about 5-7 inches of snow so going down the mountains on 68 and snow was fun. Me being from alabama it was my first time driving in snow so wanted to make sure I took it nice and easy anywy delivered that and got a load to pickup in toano va to trenton got here today and out of hours for the day so will call it a night here

Quick question guys my paper copy of my license expires on the 13th and my wife told me my permanent copy was at home does anyone know if I can ride with a faxed copy of my license or do I have to actually have to have it on me because I wasn't planning on going home til thanksgiving

I'm no authority on it but I would guess it would not be legal to have anything but the official license on you.
St. Louis isn't hard to find, it's just everything comes up on you quick. I've encountered that bridge before, lol. Got a passer by to watch as I inched under it.
