I am a mechanic for a trucking company. I was wondering if anyone else has trouble changing the big fuel filter on the newer cummins. Removal is no problem, but getting it back on poses problems. Any ideas how to make it easier. Main problem is getting the threads to start. Thanx

Are you talking about the primary (plastic bowl) fuel filter or the metal spin on type? The spin on type have been known to be troublesome to get on but I have yet to have a problem getting the clear plastic one on.
