It appears you bought your truck. What did you get?

Found a 07 387 with 380K miles, Cat C-15 13SP, 3.25 rears, single bunk, 8 Alum, almost new steers, new caps on back, full size 24.5, dual exhaust, Burgandy color. Miles have been verified.
Was a Paccar lease truck to a company out of DeSoto, TX caller Pacer Transportation. I believe they have shut the doors, I have tried to call them and all lines are no longer in service.
    No corrosion at all.
Got a good deal on it.
Just having trouble with some of the wording on the IRP and IFTA forms, and what miles to but on the IRP.
    Thanks

You "estimate" your first year's mileage for IFTA, next year you use the previous year's actual miles and so on.

I read that and was going to do it.
But in NC it says to use the "NC Estimated Mileage Formula"(one round trip of miles in a state)
This is just not sinking in for some reason.

Will I need to estimate, let's say 120k and divide that up for states I will be coming to/through?

Or a round trip through each state one time for the year?
    Thanks

Don't know about NC but TN when I went to fill out this paperwork they had a page with 48 states mileages estimated.

    BigJohn54 Thanks this.

Yea RC, I have saw that and GA, NV does as well.
That looked to be a simple way to do it.
All of the states shoud get on the same page with this.

NC has the miles already figured out like the other states for your first year tag. You get your IFTA stickers at the DMV office also. Just go down to the DMV office on Brookshire Blvd (Hwy 16) in Charlotte and the people there will walk you through the process. Afterwards sign up to do the renewal online, much easier. Also make sure you have a copy of your HUT / f2290 to show it is paid, otherwise they can also accept the payment there (and forward it to the IRS).
