C7 - the actual reality

    Tell me about this engine.

    I bought a truck with one 9 months ago and so far no problems. This truck is a little puddle jumping city truck so the miles / week are fairly low. I want to know if this engine CAN actually be a reliable engine OR are these engine bound for failure eventually.

    The truck is an 05' Freightliner M2 5 ton and I really like this style of truck and was planning to get another.

    The market has a fair bit more of the C7's in these trucks then the Cummins. Price is also a factor when searching for these engine + truck combos.
