What do you like most about the company you work for now?
I work for Gless, they keep me as busy as I want to be and pay well.

What do you dis-like most about the company you work for now?
They pay so well its really really hard to say no, I've had enough...lol

If you didn't work for the company you are at now, who would you want to work for and why?
I'm working for a top company, pay-wise for chemical tanker, so I dunno??? If not here I'd court the heavy haul companies...

I don't mind dragging the box but the view out the windshield is all the same so I want the most bucks I can get and I don't mind strapping loads or dragging hose to get a little extra... ima slut for money as far as work goes, show me the $$$'s...

That is one of the most important things to realize when you are chosing your company. You are a step ahead of most of the newbies on here.

    Self!
Would'nt work for me if I was you!
Wouldnt change anything, lots of horses and livestock, keep my own hrs, no DOT to bother us(smells like money)
I'd go back to OO flatbed division of Watkins-Shepard. No complaints except they had too much freight but let you take all the time off you wanted. Paid well.

    I'm a Swifty. (nearly a year)

    3. No idea.

    2. I have been shorted some $$$ a couple times. One time for some tolls, and one for a cab ride to the terminal when I went to pick up a 'new' truck. (but I figure the fuel I spend with my 'high idle time' is compensation)

    1.
Every DM I have had, I have gotten along great with.

For the most part, I drive as much as I want.
I am not very often left waiting for load assignments.

For the most part, the equipment is well maintained. When it's not, it is usually the fault of the previous driver not getting it serviced as it should have been. (My current truck, for example. Many problems that I am still working on getting fixed. It'll be going back in the shop during my home time this week, hopefully to finally resolve some demonic problems that seem to be persistent.)

Other than #2, my pay has always been spot on.

I have never had any kind of problems with any of Swift's people. I am always treated with respect.

Every time I have requested home time, they really try to get me home on time. I think the worst time was 2 days after the requested date, but my truck had been 5 days in the shop at Laredo (and we all know how that place is - both the shop, and the loads).
