Like it or not you're all told what to do and how to do it. Not likely that you obey, but you are told.

The majority of carriers that are on them, sad to say were forced to by their collective FMCSA status

They received NO money from the Govt to install them(again as they were forced to) so Im wondering by your statement,if "They"(the big companies) can get Federal assistance to put them in their truck why cant YOU???:biggrin_2554:,,,This is a common myth within the O/O ranks...

If and When your company reaches the "Magic#" you will be in the same boat,,stay safe, stay legal hope for the best, but if

Actually they prevent a company from abusing the driver.

Sure they limit the driver. But if your company can spell logistics, you'll never find an issue with e-logs.

If your company sucks at logistics. Your paycheck is going to suck also.

    Really?

Buy your own truck and pay your bills for it, stand on your own 2 feet and either prosper or go broke as a result of your skills and decisions. Quit letting your Corporate Daddy pick up your tab.

    You're a fool and a clueless sheep.

That's BS too, the only ones the Govt is buying EOBRs for is the Mexican carriers coming in under the cross border deal.

If your company doesn't fire idiots like that no wonder you're on Elogs, They have to treat everyone like their stupidest employee and don't think you're smart enough to run a paper log.
