and as far as being allowed in a state park I have yet to come to one and see anytype of sign that says no semi trucks allowed. If they have a rv/5th wheel drive thru parking, like most due, I wouldnt see why a truck wudnt fit...

I don't disagree, but as much time as I've spent in state/national parks, I have yet to see a truck camping-out in one...

Rest area rest rooms at 4 am........Don't think I want to be in one doing my business, right ? Kind of a "sitting duck", so to speak. Plenty of weirdos hanging around. Hate these guys who start a conversation while I'm using the wee-wee, standing inches apart. Sorry, Hoss, I don't know you and don't want to. Besides, vending machine coffee ? You can't be serious.....

Actually Moderndrifter, when we drove for Central they had one account that was literally in the middle of Moab. I think it was a potash mine. We went there quite often and would play, hike and camp out there in the park. It was a blast! It's time's like those that make driving really worth it. Like I said too, the Meteor Crater is a really cool place to camp too! Best part about that is its right off the interstate and as a otr driver you will be running I-40 quite a lot.
