i agree with you KE5WDP you have some drivers that like to plug 500 things in and expect the wiring not to over heat any one knows you have to unplug crap then for high drain devices you don't plug everthing in all at once unless you want to roast marsh mellows as your watching your truck burn down.

Hey; that's on you bro. To each their own. I personally wouldn't drive that far (one way) for ANY job in the north or south.

Microwave, yes.....fridge, you can get one that plugs into the 12v outlet for about $79.00.

Taking your truck home has a lot to do with your DBL and OC. Some are willing to work with you and some are just a pain. I live about 30 miles from a drop yard and am allowed to take my truck home, I hear some live a lot further away and aren't allowed. I honestly don't know what the official rule is, but your DBL can always make an exception if you ask nice.

Bad info. Wesco makes a 12 volt refer, with freezer especialy for trucks. I have one works great. You can get them online with install kit@ truckfridge.com

I won't work for a company close enough to my house where I have to park it at the yard. If it doesn't come home with me then I don't work for them. My recent job was local which used to be awsome until the pay cut but it didn't bother me gas wise either sence I was only less than 10 minutes from work. Good thing about Tango though, even though they are based right here in my home town, they still allow to bring the truck home except for local/day cabs.

They have some neat stuff but its WAAAY to over priced. I know his situation he just needs a 12v cooler but I have driven all Freightliners and I unbolt the cabnet on the driver side, leave it at the house and drop in a fridge with freezer combo from walmart for about $200 plugged into the inverter then a small $20 George Foreman grill and I'm set. #### company policies on fridges. I do it anyway. So far never heard a word about it and eat like a king ut any company that does say anything I'll tell them what they can do because I'm not gonna starve myself to save money from that nasty over priced truck stop garbage. Every company driver should take a stand on this.

Well I was refering to the fact that SNI limits the size of inverter you can have, and this refer hooks up to any 12 VOLT SORCE
