I do know this, many don't fact is, the Constitution has be shreded(pun?) by our gov't for years. I'm really just on this side of the fence to make us think and be aware of what is happening... and it's NOT political party specific.

People, I'm well aware of how things are now. I just choose to question them.

True but you have to stop and ask youself if the carriers are just "saying" they are being "forced" to make it look they are falling victim when there is the possibility that they are for it as well because they are getting big government tax breaks, bale outs, and don't want the general public (us drivers) to know that they will still continue making their millions while we are sent even further into the poor house? Again, capitalism. I'm wondering what ever happened to democracy and a right to voice our opinion. Because we have no voice anymore. We really don't have a say in anything anymore. I think companies are playing along with it and playing dumb to us. Just my $.02. Well, might as well be $-.02 now days.

I guess it's just not possible for a corporation to make money without guv'mint baleouts.

See, I keep hearing about these guv'mint giveaways to large corporations, but have yet to see any evidence of it whatsoever. I am supposed to believe it happens simply because the corporations exist. Saying a thing, typing it and seeing it does not make it true.

Where is the evidence, either from the corporations or the guv'mint?

I love this subject,,,never fails to amuse me:biggrin_25523:

It Always brings out the Constitutional Scholars (that seemed to be truckers) and start talking,,eeeerrrrr I mean #####in bout I gots my's rights infringed about friggin ELOGS

If your not on them,,OH- well:biggrin_2554: unless you or your company goes bad in the safety area well then crap you have absolutely nothing to worry about,if you are with a company and they are or going to ELOGS,well hmmmmmm they(the Non-Mega) are always complaining(the companies) about a driver shortage,so take you and your "Good CSA" to another "Non-ELOG" company,,,

Stop living in the What-ifs and "Should Be's" world and either accept what you have to or are required to do or move on,,,Friggin Crybaby's:biggrin_2554:

    #### to many Justification-Of-Benitfits(or for you lamens out here,,JOBS that are constantly being advertised,You dont like ELOGS/EOBRS find a friggin company that doesnt have them,,,

Level Playing Field: Herd this on here, okay you want to make it "Level",,you stay on Paper,BUT!!! you cant have a Pre/EZ pass and are required to go into everyscale house,People on ELOGS/EOBRS dont,,,you run the way you think you ought to but you pay the price of having to prove it,,(Like us hands on EOBR's) that fair RIGHT? aint it???

I personally could care less if you are on Paper(and BTW Im Not) I choose to work where I do(Conway) so i accept that I have to work with ELOGS,,,If you cant accept to work for a company cause either they were forced(so in that case You the driver contributed to their bad CSA rating) or they chose to go to ELOGS then simply find another carrier that doesnt or dont have to,seems if your CSA score if good would be in a higher demand and thus better pay,,

And if your wondering, yes my CSA is perfect(like a lot of you that take the time to do the job right)

Injun, it happens and it is super large scale. What happens is that many of the largest Coporations(most are multi-national) DO NOT pay ANY taxes at all. Moreover, they even show record profits.

Evidence is there: Here is testimony from the Fiscal Policy Initiative on the House commitee for tax reform.

    http://waysandmeans.house.gov/UploadedFiles/BRT_written_testimony.pdf

Problem is that sifting through the evidence is long and tedious, and when one does it, the evidence makes you so mad that speaking out about it makes you sound like a lunatic.

Funny thing is that mandating ELOGS/EOBRS WILL effect all of us in the ability to do our jobs... funny nobody has asked, or put it all together yet.
