after reading the responses i belive what has happened is that something, water, air ect got the original set and through all the work done to the engine that problem was corrected but by just putting another set of injectors in without getting the trim codes or injector codes put into the ecm the new injectors didn't make it run like it should so i thought it was the injectors again.I am taking it to the shop monday and have proper trim files installed I will keep you all posted.....I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND INFORMATION i belive you have saved me time and MONEY......Thanks Again

The trim codes/files will make it run rougher if not set properly. I don't think you'd notice as much of a power loss as you seem to be experiencing with improper trim codes in the ECM at this time. Getting the proper codes programmed into the ECM will be some work for the mechanic. He'll have to remove the valve cover to be able to read the codes on the injectors, before he can program them into the ECM.

Iwas hoping i would here from you Mr haney, from everything i've read on this site you are definatly the man who knows.....I am goining to remove the covers and write down the numbers tommorrow/ anything to save money. That way when i get to the shop all he will have to do is his programming Is there anything i should tell or ask the Tech. Also Do you have any suggestions as to why i've lost power.I have checked all the basic power loss problems

Believe it or not one of the problems with a C-12 that can cause a big power loss is the primer pump on the fuel filter base. I actually dealt with one recently that would only run on three cylinders and this was the problem.
Is this a MBL serial number engine, if it is then you're dealing with a bridge motor. You have catalytic converters in the mufflers and poor programming in the ECM. You can flash to the earlier C-12 programming and pick up a nice power gain also. -
The serial# 2ks90480, i put another ecm on it this morning and it seems to have a little more power but it starts cutting out @ 2000 rpm i changed the primer pump 1 month ago ,it was bad. Seems no matter what i do i just can't get the missing out.I can change injectors and it will run smooth for a few days but still has low power-then just all at once it will start cutting out again and i have to start all over with more injectors

Mr Haney is there any way that i can send you my ecm and let you work your magic on it

Your engine left CAT as a 410 Hp with a peak torque of 1450 ft-lbs. I can tweak it to a 430 with 1650 ft-lbs. With good fuel numbers it'll roughly be 450 -460 Hp level with 1650 ft-lbs.
I can also do a PDI Stage 1 tune to get it slightly above 550 HP, but you'll need to change the turbo at the same time.
You need to find and fix the problem you're having now, before we start tuning up the ECM -
I;ve been working on it all day, put a different ecm on it it ran smooth for about an hour but my boost pressure which normally runs about 29 psi without a load - thats running thru the gears not criuising down the hwy--would only get up to 21 psi put the other ecm back on and it runs rough but boost is back to 29 psi Just don't make sense i have better boost pressure when it's running rough Going back to the shop w/ it monday morning. I don't no what else to try. THANK YOU for your help Mr Haney if they can fix it i will get back w/ you and get the tune ; I want to THANK everybody again..

Shadow rider...
Your lack of boost could be from a different flash file loaded into your substitute ECM, eg. lower hp rating with lower fuel injection rates thus lower boost pressure. Besides the lower boost pressure, did this ECM solve your drive-ability issues totally?
