Anyone else get a class action form about DAC/HireRight lawsuit?

hey ctops legal can i ask you a few questions?

 

I got my letter and filled out the claim form!

Mine said $135 if I do nothing or $4,000 - $20,000 if i fill out the papers!

If you had filed a dispute about your DAC report you are in the CLASS

In my case they reported a FELONY conviction that cost me several jobs over a year and a half, even though I have proof from the State of KY that the indictment was DISMISSED!

 

Just sent mine out today The settlement was approved on the 3rd
let keep our fingers crossed and hope our claims are good enough
to get $20,000 or at least close to it.

 

Vonage and the fact I diligently made efforts to retain counsel and could not I did not file, with this type of class payout it is taxable so I guess there is not enough $ in it, plus I would have to go to Richmond to request more time which I seriously doubt the judge will grant without an attorney.

That is a good claim you just email from other trucking co's saying you were denied employment for that felony you can always file supplementary claims "check your phone records".

 

mine read 5-50 bucks if i do nothing, or fill out the papers to opt out of the class action suit if I was suing personally....I used it to light the bonfire

Anybody hear how the results of the "Fairness Hearing" went?
Have yet to see on website (here & lawyers) to any progress of it...

February I tried to contact some of the attorneys yesterday but got no answer I guess they were out for the new year I will try again today

 

So this means from now on when you apply for a job they send you a copy of your DAC and tell you who requested it?

 

I just got word that all checks will be mailed out no later than January 27
