All I ask is that you continue to post your real experiences, good, bad, or ugly, as long as you are with England. There have been literally hundreds of people here with the same words as you, never to be heard from again after a few weeks or months.
If all goes well, people need to know, if not, people need to know also. The risk of having a few "I told you so's" if things go badly is a small price to pay to help someone.
If things go good, then you will be the one saying "I told you so".

Also, I'm a company driver and not a IC.
England is one of those companies that the longer you stay here, the better things get. This is a trainer company, so you aren't going to get the best treatment, and you aren't going to get the best loads and pay off the bat. Things get better after a while, provided you build a good relationship with your DM. I had 3 different DM's, and each one liked me and kept me rolling with a average of 3,000 miles a week. Even as a company driver, I hate to sit. If I don't have a reload within a certain amount of time, I'm going to blow up my DM's inbox until he gives me a load. I've been with my current DM long enough to the point he knows this, and he will give me a load ASAP.AfterShock Thanks this. -

Either way, at the end of the week you can make just as much as a solo IC or a solo company driver. -
I honestly don't know how they let themselves get in the hole that far. unless they were refusing loads kept doing advances or the truck kept breaking down or they didn't know how to make there DM work for them. another thing i see thats amusing is these newbies leasing a truck not knowing the responsibilites or they just lease a truck jump in and down the road they go with no revunue bult up aka a savings account #### happens!!

Have you looked at other companies? Both Prime and FFE have zero deduction schools if you stay for a year. FFE is also in Dallas area. Lots of negatives for all company schools but more positives for all except CRE. Research B4 you jump.
I have two brothers that went to CRE. Neither has anything good to say about the company after training was completed. Both do say the training was very good.
One brother went the company route. He was left waiting for a truck for weeks on end and told that a lease truck was ready if he wanted that route. He left, went to Swift and today is a local driver for a gasoline company.
My other brother went the lease route. He did the 6 month trial and teamed with another driver. He did very well for about 4 months. At about 4 monthe they wanted him to sign a new lease, He told them he was not going to renew, not sure why. He stopped getting loads, couldn't make his truck payment and lost everything. He returned the truck to the terminal as instructed. They put an abandoned truck on his DAC, ruined both his trucking career and his credit.
Hope it goes better for you but I would not work for CRE unless I had absolutely no other way to feed my kids.
Good luck and stay safe.AfterShock Thanks this. -
So first week back you end the week 1400 miles in the hole - no paycheck.
Second week back you end the week 400 miles in the hole - no paycheck.
Third week back you are positive on 400 miles - based on your $700 for net 800 miles you will get a $350 paycheck.
You just worked 3 weeks and made $350. Thats provided you took no advances during those three weeks. -
