Hi, im a car hauler and in January i will be buying a new so i wondering whats tha best truck and trailer combination to buy. Right now i have a 2000 Pete 377 with a Boydstun Quickloader and 3406E cat. I've had tha truck 4 10 yrs now.

I would keep what you got. Stay away from all the new junk.

I do not like newer engines. IMO - the best engines are US pre EGR and Euro-3.

When you look around, I take it you want 500 HP ask for the EPA sticker. It will give you the MM3 of fuel used to make that HP. The DD15 seems to be getting good mileage, and reliability.
You really want to be checking it out, Friends of mine that did the car hauling, is a fuel pig. -
