As a near permanent member of Fleet 50, complete with the arm patch, I can tell you nothing will happen until your next time on the yard.
You will notice a chair in Harold's office with my name on it.
But what the heck. you'll watch a couple videos, do a ride with a trainer and probably do a couple backs at the TA.
Offer to bring Harold some Lasagna and all will be well.

I have a question about stevens transport. I've read conflicting info about paying for orientation in dallas tx. when you go to their orientation, do you have to pay it back after they hire you?

You have to pay back for the hotel, bus, and if you opt for it the 70.00 per week they loan you to get through school. This is taken out of your pay at 25.00 per week once your on the road

Last night I was in my bed at home for the first time since mid August. But I have drove through town 2 or 3 times and stopped long enough to have dinner with my wife and son.

But to Stevens defense, I havent asked for time off and my DM actually asked if I wanted off.

I know other drivers that have been home 2 or 3 times since August. Its pretty much up to you.

If you do not have your CDL and attend Stevens Driving school, you will have a payment arraignment to pay for school.
If you have a CDL and start in O-1 orientation and go thru that, then NO, you do not pay anything back, whether you complete the program or not.

    Slimpack Thanks this.

Finally got out of Jacksonville. What a screw up!
Arrived at shippers couple hours early, finally they inform me we pick up at another location, but it's closed.
Then try and find a TS parking spot at 10pm! Easier to find a virgin in a ##### house.
Found a Wally World with a bunch of trucks, so we tucked right in there.
    0300 comes a knock.
"No parking. Just thought I'd point it out before the tow trucks get here."
We're parked right under a sign that says, ' no truck or RV parking'
See what happens when you get tired?
Found another place, finish the break, go into town again and get loaded with 40,000 pounds of coffee beans.
On our way to San Leandro.

Just remember, you got the ticket today, but you haven't been convicted of anything.
Fight it and try to get it reduced or defeated.

True dat. A ticket is only a citation, a promise to appear (as they call it in California). It only becomes a conviction when you pay the "bail," whether directly by mail (or however it's done) or by appearing in Traffic Court. Unless you have a lengthy record, appearing is almost always going to get you a reduction. Many times, the LEO won't show and if not, the ticket can get dismissed. No conviction, no record.

    Appear!
