Ask Air France how accurate the magic box is. 5 days now getting A/C, jake, dash lites, and sensors repaired. How many violations do I get or job losses before someone decides magic box is not working!

You really dont have a clue and it seems like you have watched ALL of the Smokey and the Bandit movies way too many times. Better pay and safer roads will never be achieved by the use of elogs. Do some research on Werner, they have been using them for quite sometime and see if there is any shred of evidence that might even come close to supporting your claims. I highly doubt it.

I bet you can't confirm this with anything in writing from the FMCSAI

If I'm wrong, then prove it. I want FMCSA documents, not company policy.

If you still get log violations with a e-log, then to put it bluntly you should start looking for another career. A e-log is not a black box. A black box is equipped with a FDR and CVR, which records flight parameters and voices. A e-log doesn't do this.

Funny you say that. Bill was telling me a few weeks ago when he was looking to purchase another used dry van about a company that went out of business due to CSA2010 and their trailers were for sale at a local equipment lot. They were too expensive though, so he passed. It's happening whether you want to believe it or not. And rates will be going up because of it.

The FMCSA OIG was filing felony charges against SMALL carrier owners and shutting their companies down long before CSA 2010 came along .
The carrier that employed the driver that killed 10 Mennonites in KY was shut down but the same drivers in the same trucks are working for the same owner with a new company.
Rates won't go up when the large carriers are exempt from criminal charges . Six kids were burned to death when a Crete driver rear ended them . Fines only . Only the driver faced reduced criminal charges
