Yeah, only two problems with the W9. The turning radius and the weight! For newbies you can't look out the window to back, you have to use your mirrors because of the stacks. Good way to teach you to drive correctly though! One time I saw a driver in a W9 and he was either new or taught bad habits because he had the door open with one foot one the step trying to lean out see around the stack trying to back up. I was just waiting for the guy to fall out of the truck! Wonder what the hell he did when he had to blindside?!:biggrin_25512:

Herman is cool, Bruce was always cool with me. Always got back to me with an hour. Aldwin was my DM. He always had good loads for me. Was the best of the 3 DM's I had. First one was Walter but he got fired, then I had Martin, I think he took over Vicki's job and then I got Aldwin.

Central has very good equipment, both tractors and trailers! Pay isn't the highest but they also have lots of different bonuses. Miles are going to depend on you and your dispatcher.

For the next year while you are learning the ropes as a company driver just keep track of everything as if you were an O/O and see how you make out. Check out the OOIDA website too. There is a lot of links where you can get study materials and books on CD's about business and owning your own truck. The more you learn before hand the better the O/O you will be. Will also give you something to do while chuggin down the road.
