Someone posted $25 an hour in North Dakota. In Oklahoma and I am sure it is the same in Texas they are paying $20 to start hauling water and can't find enough drivers. The difference is the winter weather and places to live cheap here, don't have to pay out rages rent or sleep in your car. Crude haulers and rig movers pay more. I am glad I am trucking in the oil field here in Oklahoma while my nephew is doing it in North Dakota and freezing his ### off.

The newest Williston man camp the atco lodge is booked full till the summer of 2012. So good luck on the man camps... The hotels 100 miles away are also booked full....the spring time is when everyone will surge up there to look for work... This is prob the best time as alot of people just work till winter then leave and for the upcoming holidays...

I live in Enid and I have one truck and pull a belly dump hauling rock to new locations. Lot of water and crude haulers moved to town, some Texas outfits up here.Big Duker Thanks this. -
The majority of companies dont pay that much or there is some sort of catch to it. I am speaking for new drivers. -

I think its a basic rule they use "why should I pay 25 an hour when someone will do it for 15 an hour?..."
If someone will not do it for 25$ an hour you better bet there is a major catch to that. Thats big money. 40-60 hours a week at 25 an hour is nothing to turn away from unless something is really risky. IE -40 weather or 2 feet of snow or no housing at all...
But thats all speculation. I have never been to ND. I have been reading and following it for some time. But never been there. So my post is pure speculation.... -
Your not speculating.... There is no housing... And the companies I applied to after ur drug test comes back u get to do a road test in there truck to see how u drive and shift... 13 and 18 speeds up here.. And the 10 speeds also
