Hi all

Hello everyone, another newb here. Still doing research but heavily leaning toward getting my CDL when I get back to the states next year. Currently in Colombia on a dual sport.

 

Btw I'm Micah, 40 years old, hobbies include dirt bikes, guns, beekeeping and chasing after good looking South American women. =)

 

Thinking about going to school here: http://www.truckingschool.com/ . And trying to get a job driving in West Texas to start out with. Hauling water sounds like something I would be keen to do. From reading the forums here it seems hauling crude pays a lot better, but hey gotta start somewhere! I would be perfectly happy putting in my time and getting experience driving a water truck, then maybe after 2-3 years move up to crude.

 

I know this isn't the right forum for it but if anyone reading this happens to have gone to the above school and has any feedback on it I would be very happy to hear it!

 

I read somewhere on here that the book "Bumper to Bumper" would be good to have so I'll probably pick that up as well.
