Looking for any current info on them. I have researched as much as i can find on the net, and from what I've seen, looks like a good job, if you can get it.
I've just noticed that some of the few current rates i know of, have changed a bit since what has been posted several years ago. Also looking for information on there trucks/equipment and if things are going strong, keeping you busy. Any other info appreciated as well.

They have a terminal up here in Bridgeveiw. Trucks seem well kept, Drivers have uniforms and there are never hiring atleast not thru ads or online

Well, I got the call today. Looks like I start training with them Monday!
I've been waiting anxiously this last week, for all the tests and screens to clear, to get the approval. I was really starting to wonder.
I'm feeling real good right now. I'm hoping this will work out to be a good fit. -
They are the food grade side of Superior Carriers. Insurance and benefits are pretty good.
What is Carry paying per mile now? Superior just got a raise to .45 loaded and .36 empty. Carry used to be a little lower than that but only a penny or so. Good luck -
Couple things I'm curious about. What kind of trucks do they run? Transmissions? Average condition/age? I know they e-log, how about other equipment, APU's? Allow inverter's? I know all this may not be the same for each terminal/division, but would imagine it should be similar.
Thanks -
I went to Carry Transit's web page and it says that you need 1 year expereince.
How did you land your job Rad 3 Dad ? -
ya, I seen that too and crossed them off at first. I decided to go ahead and start making calls to local companys to inquire for future reference, for goals to work on. Asked them if they had a student program, and they do occasionaly, just happend to be the right time. Got lucky really.

Age and condition is terminal dependent. Almost everyone at my terminal just got a new truck. They are replacing the 2007's. Mine is a 2006 with 660,000 miles on it. They just replaced 9 at my terminal with mileage in the 500,000 range. I am a little pissed about that.
No APUs because the trucks are equipped with pump and compressor and there is a space and weight issue. They do not hassle you about idle time though. Our shop will install an inverter for us if we buy it.Rad3Dad Thanks this. -

may be wrong, but I think Beelman bought them out couple years ago.
