Never drove for this company, but my company contracts them to haul for us, and on occasion, I have had to pull one of their miserable trailers from a DC to another DC. Based on that I think I would never have anything to do with them Unless maybe I was a new driver and couldn't get hired on anywhere else. I think that may be a good percentage of the driver force they seem to do a lot of damage on our yards as well.

Mixing any of the following 3 is always dangerous - religion, government, business.
Don't believe me, look up the definitions of the following 3 words - Theocracy, Fascism, Communism. All 3 are mixes of at least 2 of the first set of 3. -

I worked for them for 5 years and quit in august when they had payroll problems. 3 weeks without a paycheck broke me. they r no different then any other company out there today. cheap pay, low miles and hard to get home. today trucking companys r hirin more drivers than they need to make sure they can cover busy times when they need to. they can do this because gone r the days of gettin .48 cpm
-
Yeah, if that were the case, Covenant wouldn't keep a driver for more than 6 months.

.......Well. not sure if it can hold up in court, but they do charge for over idle. it is down to 10% any over that you get charged. its also onmy online paystub as extra charge. I usually stay right at or under 5% idle. -
