How much is it the fault, if any is lack of miles to blame on dispatcher? I've been getting crappy miles since I was assigned new one. My daily average has dropped to 348 miles.

Thinking I need to ask operations manager to switch me back to old FM.

Mine have dropped too and my dispatcher is new as well. I'm thinking it's partly the season with flatbed, but maybe the dispatchers who've been around longer have a little more repoire with planners compared to newer ones? Dunno.

There is some truth to that, the dispatcher/planner relationship is just as important as the driver/dispatcher relationship.

Sitting at the Admiral in Sault Ste Marie, MI. Border crossing in an hour or so. First time crossing, but there is another Roehl driver here that I am going to follow across.
Watch out Canucks, a crazy Yank is coming across! :biggrin_25522:

UPDATE-- Other driver's paperwork is messed up so he has to fax more stuff to the broker and wait 3 hours. I am on my own.

canada is easy...I don't mind going...its extra money in the bank...and as long as your paperwork is good its quick to cross the border...

sitting in a rest area outside jackson OH on us35...shut down last night due to being exceptionally tired...ahead of the game though, so I should be early to my cons...thankfully a DH at a distro center in central MI

At the TA in Seymour Indiana, deliver nearby in the morning reload in Scottsburg and then off for a 2 stop that ends up in Syracuse NY.

At Pilot in Tyler, TX. Delivered to Target late this morning. Have a pick up n Ashdown, AR in the morning and then headed to Gulfport, MS. Load delivers Monday morning so have plenty of time, but not happy with lack of miles yet again.

Left a message yesterday morning for Safety Compliance Officer about the video and she never called me back. I'm seriously not happy with how they are handling my request for more information on this video.
