I'm not sure about Music Mountain. I know we ended up with a bunch drivers from that account that was moved permenatly over to our yard at Slack. We got one of the guys from Minden box as well and First Fleet took over the MB plant and from I hear that don't pay shat! lol. I didn't want to but had to leave after we got cut from 6 days/70 hours to 3 1/2 days/42 hours a week with all the new drivers brought in locally. It was putting most of us behind on our bills. It wasn't even a guarantee to get 42 hours if any at all during a week if IP in Mansfield shut down for repairs. I asked my terminal manager about working a second job I was offered doing PM's on trucks at the shop in Greenwood on my down days to make the extra cash but he didn't want me doing it because I needed to be on call just incase I needed to fill in for someone which was highly unlikely with 18 drivers.

How are u doing at tango? Miles still good? I'm approved to start
Working there! Just like to find any positive feedback there sure is a lot
Of negative here. I know how these forums a lot of half truths and complaining. Guess it could not be any worse than where I'm at now only getting on average 1700 miles a week -
Tango is a good company. My buddy worked for them before buying his own truck. People that post negative things on here are people that got fired or want the world handed to them. Opportunites and miles are there, those that dont get miles probaly live in bad spots and run regionally because they just have to get home every weekend
-
So you don't or never have worked for them?
Maybe you should try it for awhile. Then get back with us.
I do agree. If you live in the right place, it can be an okay company. But they are far from being a "good" company.
They ran 6-10 loads a week 2 blocks from my house. That was inbound loads. They pulled another 20-40 loads out from 3 plants locally.
Only 4 drivers lived within 60 miles of the plants.
They couldn't spell logistics if someone tattooed it on their forehead.KE5WDP and Leftlane101 Thank this. -
You have no clue about Tango...Ivan Buckner is the most corrupt a-hole I have ever met. But you wouldn't know anything about that...cuz your "buddy" hasn't told you...
I'm glad I ain't at Tango anymore cuz I can PIIIIISSSSSSS on Tango's salary, benefits, and hometime here at Schneider....dancnoone Thanks this. -
You too? LOL
My my mother handled my finances for a while, when I was on the road. She called me after about 6 months with Tango and let me know real quick I had made a mistake.
When your "really old school" mom tells you that you need to find another job. You know #### well you ain't imagining things.Leftlane101 Thanks this. -
I know absolutely nothing about Tango, except that I've never seen them in my area...until last week. Saw a Tango truck two days in a row right here in my hometown. I always thought they were a midwest-southern regional carrier.

I was just wondering if everyone is pretty happy with tango.and do u think they would hire out of Knoxville? Do they have paper logs or computer
-
Electronic logs. Although some may still be on paper.
They used to hire out of Knoxville. Give em a call.
Then pray you never haul a load of scrap into their 2 favorite IP plants, Campti and Mansfield. 4-15 hours depending on what day it is, to unload.
