Does anyone know how our Vacation Time works?

I know we get 1 week after 1 year, but i've yet to hear anyone say that i have a week to use....

Anyone know if you have to have earned a week off hometime wise to use it?

I came back out from hometime October 25th, and My dad has something for me to do from December 14th - December 19th. so i'd need 7-8 days off to do it. I was thinking about useing the vaca time IF i can.

    Anyone know?

It is any week you want after you have been here a yr. Just call John English and tell him when you want off. Also you can get your vacation pay anytime after your 1 year even if you dont take the same week off.

maybe he'll meet a girl...but i dont want to see that video either.

i was actually wondering if it was something we get at our year date, because with every other company ive been with it was always at the 1st of the year. and with some if you dont use it you lose it, most companies suck. either way im just using mine in jan or feb depending how soon i get burnt out just to avoid a little bit of winter and be lazy.

I feel like BNR32's lil bro lately, cuz I'm like me too me too! .. I'm going to take time off in January too! .. when the loads are slower and its crappy out. I should have a bundle of hometime accrued for a long break in February too. I wish I could just hibernate and come back in the spring.

Should be 1 calendar year from your hire date. I know you can also opt for a $600 bonus instead of the time off of you want.

i dont need the money that bad, ill always take days off. if i could take all of jan-feb off every year even without pay i #### well would. thats why i sometimes think i should have gone into teaching. indoors and 4 months off a year off, sweet deal. i really dont like kids though hahaha
