Peterbilt 587 vs. KW700

i have a 300" wheel base on my truck and the only difference it makes for me if i run coast to coast is how the **** and im going to get into that dock

 

If I had to choose between the two trucks above I would take the Pete!
I like the chrome mirrors and the fog lights vs. no fog lights and painted mirrors. And the Pete has more windows in the sleeper. And MOST important.....I like the transition from the cab to the sleeper on the Pete better, it still looks like a truck (kind of) and the visor is a plus.

The peterbilt 587 is a piece of trash plain and simple, drove a new 2012 this week my first week back from winston salem NC to San Diego and down to Yuma Arizona and back.

Loudest truck I have ever driven, the wind noise from the window next to the mirror will drive you out of your mind in Texas and Arizona crosswinds.

The sleeper in the back is so loud going down the road i thought my head was outside the drives.

Worst riding truck I have ever been in and lays down in corners like you wouldn't believe.

Kenworth rules over this piece of garbage without even trying, smoother ride, and much quieter.

All of our drivers with this new truck are turning it back in for an older Pete, don't waste your time with this garbage.

 

im sure it is a POS, i was just saying compared to the T700 it looks better

Personally the 587 sucks compared to the KW. Give me a T660 or Pete 386.

C'mon now that floor clutch is a long standing Peterbilt trademark!

Although I have to admit the first few times I used one I felt like I had to stand up outta the seat on it...
