Yeah there r still some holdouts in the business I smell it once in awhile been awhile seen a dude get a ticket in the chicken coup on I-75 ringgold,ga I had gone in the coup voluntarily 2 get an inspection too get some points off an money an he was gettn a ticket for having a roach on the floorboard guy was drivin another guys truk tht day an gott pulld in an what do u knw they find a little suprise on the floor also had a fellow driver tell me tht he workd for ffe or stevens an got in a truk someone else abandoned he went an got it brought it back 2 dallas was cleanin it out an checkd the cigarette lighter in the lower bunk by the bed an there was a little sandwich bagged shoved in it with crack in it so ever since then when I get a different truk I take my led streamlight which is what most cops use an go over ever crevice in the truk dude says he gott hell from them when he told then they was always givin him urine analysis better safe than sorry

Usually my intentions while posting on TTR are just to vent my own issues, but after reading this thread coupled with that horrible Eagle's loss, and the fact that I was drinking Double Wood all day I want to rant.

Anyhow, I'm no expert to offer commentary on the actions of people nor do I want a moderators infraction levied against my profile so I will just say that people who are grudge holders, belly achers, harbor revengeful thoughts, only see the world in black or white, who look for the worst-case scenario, are terribly thin-skinned, think that they are entitled to something, personify irrational emotional reasoning, are gullible, and act that life is so unfair forces me to say, "Jesus man, get on www.half.com and order all of the .99 cent books written by Lynne Namka a.s.a.p." What I have learned from her series of books is that blaming is a pattern that keeps people from becoming closer. That people who blame others or situations without taking responsibility for their contribution to the problem never get the sense of satisfaction of growth. People who refuse to see their own errors lose the opportunity to change the very aspects of themselves and that is what keeps them stuck.

If you need to ask a question like this PLEASE do not try to get any job involving a CDL, You really know how to help out stereotyping, FYI a hair folacle test sent to the right lab can go back for over a year so if you are involved in a personal injury accident you might just end up in jail. Why not just go to work for the LaHood boys (DOT) as I think you would fit right in

You missed the whole point. It should not matter what test(s) are required by any company. If you are worried about something you done 3 months ago, like smokin' some weed, then don't apply. Geesh why is that so hard to understand.

People that are concerned about the hair test, are most often the ones that have done illegal drugs recently, and still want to. They tend to not want to follow rules, and have no place in the seat of 80k lb truck.

I've read some posts where people argue that these companies have no right to request such test, because it's not mandated by DOT. So what if it's not. The company can request you take the test if you want to drive for them. You don't want to, then don't and move on to the next. It's not your company, it's their company, and they set the rules for you to follow.

 

Asking what kind of drug test a co performs in someway makes it look like the applicant is trying to dodge a positive test.

In my opinion..I don't care how a co tests..I want to know that I'm driving along sober people.

 

So um dude, does that mean like, um, they do test?? Lmao. Honestly, it's only an 80k truck and trailer, they're going to hand you keys, a bowl and a bud and send you on your way.
