Does anyone drive concrete trucks for a living?
This is one side of trucking I have never done before, but I am considering it over delivering groceries. Sick of warehouses and dealing with people face to face who want there product carried into the building, up a flight of 47 stairs, only to turn 6 corners in a narrow hallway while opening 7 doors with your hands full, than jump through a fire hoop and finally find yourself deposited at the storage location for said product....
Just wondering what the Concrete business is like. I imagine with such a thick suspension it is a rough ride all day?

it is kindly like the grocery delivery, but instead of doors and floors, there is mud and contractors vehicles. same jackhandles at the end of the delivery.

If you don't like you will HATE hauling cement! the jack ##### contractors yell and scream then cry when your stuck because they always say it will hold you! then you have to deal with a shop manager saying " why did you do that!" and other unspeakable words I did it for a year and will never do it again.
herring22 Thanks this. -
Those are the first things that came to my mind.
If I think the ground is unfit, and going to get me stuck, I don't drive in for anybody, and most likely construction contractors would hate me for that.
Not sure what avenues of trucking are good anymore. -
I can't drive anymore, but I made good money and had a pretty good time hauling sand for gas wells.
