Thanks man...yep...work history...same job for 9 years now...time now for a new and exciting adventure!!! What kind of questions can I expect from the recruiter on my first call?? Thanks again and congrats on your recent graduation!

 

She didn't really ask me to many questions.. just about my work history since I worked for my grandfather.

 

Picked up a load in Shelby, IA. This morning that delivers to a Menards store in Washington, IL...load did deliver until tomorrow the 15th but I got here 3 hours before they stop receiving so getting unloaded as we speak...ending mileage for this week is now 3,520 with a 34 hr reset!!!

 

I ran into her and her trainer about 10 days ago on I80 in Ohio getting fuel. Couldn't chat long. Had to keep running.

I think I have read, and read again all the advice given here. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks.

I have alot time on my hands since I don't start training until Jan in Cartersville. Having said that, I read in the newbie section on the main page for trainees and students to go ahead and start signing up for T/A reward cards etc., (showers, points blah blah blah you get the point) so you can concentrate on training. Anyway was looking for Millis drivers point of view on that.

 

Good luck Boomer. The Greg makes the training fun and for the most part easy. Get the fuel cards before u get here because I'm sure you will be doing a lot of eating at them for the few weeks that ur here.( that's the only places to eat that's are close)

 

Ran into her in Cartersville with her trainer - from what I hear she is doing really well.

 

Man - you're getting the miles. I sure wish I was!

 

Emptied out in Washington, IL. last night and received load to pickup at Menards DC in Plano, IL. And deliver to store in Lima, OH....delivered today then received load to pickup in Trenton, OH. to deliver tomorrow in Crenshaw, PA. Currently parked in Youngstown, OH. for the night!!
