My truck came from my leasing company with a governor set on it. The company doesn't mind if I turn it up I just need to pay for it. How much I'm looking to pay to turn it up?
P.S. I used the search tool for related topics, and was never a straight forward answer.

go to the dealer, your looking at 1/2-1hr labor. say $65-$110 sound about right

btw when they hook up to it have them check and see if the hp has been cut down on it. they can do alot of changes when they hook up to it.

Ya I figured it shouldn't take longer than 15-30 minutes. Can't wait till I get it done. I don't wanna drive like a maniac I just hate taking 5 miles to pass someone!

btw you don't need to go to the TRUCK dealer... you can go to any shop the works on what is under the hood (cat, cumming's.....) they will have the software to change it, may save you a little money and time.

Where did you get the truck from? Most dealers will fix it for you and/or cover the cost. It should have been removed before they sold it unless it is password protected. In that case, you will have to go to a dealership.
