I'm driving a 2012 freightliner cascadia sleeper. My question is, where is the best place to put my antenna because there is nothing the magnet will stick to? Also these style mirrors don't allow for the other style antenna. Right now I have it taped tite my passenger side mirror.

They make roof mount antennas too....

I have mine velcroed to the top of the cab, so far working fine. I keep thinking about a way to mount one a little different but until then I will live with the velcro.
I also drive a cascadia.

Thanks for the replys. I'll give the Velcro a try while I'm looking into the roof mounts

I clamped a piece of steel to my mirror then stuck it on the metal.

I use this, I have it mounted on the drivers side mirror, its furthest away from the curb, supposedly for better reception, its much better than the stock antenna, I don't lose my signal as much.

If your truck is equiped with a mirror located at the top of the door on passenger side you can stick it there. I have been getting an excellent signal there. I forget the name of the mirror, but it faces straight towards the ground and is located at the top of the passenger door.
