That is an interesting point. I look forward to reading this thread to get everyones opinion. Me personally, I think that the no loitering should apply, but I try to avoid the Truck Stops as much as I can. I never seem to sleep well when I hear jake breaks and loud stereos thumping grrrrrr.

:biggrin_2554: Its a truck STOP! WTF are you suposed to do?

You wanna charge, charge idiots that nose in across 3 spots with there F-150 and a little camper that they are too stupid to back in, charge the homeless bums that waste our time with there BS stories.

If you have a CDL and have a truck with you, you have a reason to be there. Just like everything else without Truckers truck stops go out of Biz.

Here is a thought! BUY SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!

Others are there and have spent money at the fuel lanes only to lose a spot to someone that did not. I feel that if I drop $300+ at the pump there better be a spot for my truck to park if I need to stop. I know I am not the only one that feels this way.

I park at Truckstops all the time, and don't buy a #### thing. I pack my lunch, and relax and eat. I'll use the restroom. But I don't buy #### thing. Wanna call me a freeloader? Because I'm not dumb enough to pay Truckstop prices?

    Conservative to the Bone.

Although you make a good point but what do you say if you are in a T/S that charges to park and you cant find somewhere to park? How you feel about this matter really doesnt apply because everyone else in there paid to be there in some way, shape or form.... Unless you only plan on being there for the minimum time to avoid being charged.

Another thing, if its a free parking truckstop, you gonna go knock on the door of every truck in there and ask if they paid their dues to be there??? More so, are you implying youve never parked at a free parking truckstop and didnt pay a dime?

It happens all the time, get used to it. We have to stop eventually and in these days, you cant just park anywhere so what are you gonna do? What if someone just bought fuel 50, 100 miles down the road? Do they need to buy more just to satisfy the opinions you hold?

Unfortuneatley, I highly doubt you are in a class of your own.

I spend $20-$30 a day in truck stops not counting the 3-4 showers a week i pay for, and the scales, and fuel. They are not getting 1 more cent out of me

I like the way the Scranton PA Petro ran their parking lot. You paid to get in and they in turn gave you a coupon for that amount to use in the store or resturant.
