Was at the Flying J in Spokane earlier. It's a one way parking lot. You enter on the south end by the fuel island and exit the north end on the other side of the building. There's even a traffic light specifically for the entrance.

As I was trying to leave, a CR England trainer and his student came in the out door. (Boy, that just doesn't sound right.) Anyway, three other drivers did the "monkey see, monkey do" thing and followed the CRE in.

    They were all independents.

Lol, whats your point? I've seen all walks of trucks go the wrong way through a one-way parking lot.

Oh wait, I get it, this is a CRE bashing thread.... Silly me.

Your statement in red was my point. So sorry it got past you so easily. Do you run for CRE?

ATA elected Dan England Chairman. Clearly driver's are at the bottom of the ATA's list.

I don't. He was fluent in multi-divisional policy across the company, lease and payroll specifics, and insisted I was lying about CRE shaving cpm off my husbands paystub. wanted to see it. He was arguing contract specifics with others, infact, he was posting left and right in feverish defense of CRE everywhere. When he started talking about CRE's penalizing thru pay policies, (which wasn't what happened to us, they take pay and when we notice it and fight they give it back) I smelled a rat. No driver has that kind of intimate knowledge and he was causing a lot of people headaches who were just trying to tell their story. I realized anyone could get canned for giving up their identity and just wanted warn everyone. Yo0u can click on someones profile and see their posts and that sealed it for me.

Really? Um, okay. I guess it was this part that threw me off....

As I was trying to leave, a CR England trainer and his student came in the out door. (Boy, that just doesn't sound right.) Anyway, three other drivers did the "monkey see, monkey do" thing and followed the CRE in.

I guess I failed to see the connection of what you said to what I said about trucks off all kinds that I see coming out the entrance and going in the exit, not only CRE trucks.

LOL, it seems to me that not enough information was conveyed to prove otherwise that you wernt just referring to CRE trucks.

I coulda sworn you were aware of that but if not, yes.

And no, dont try to take this as if Im trying to defend these drivers you saw going against the flow of traffic.

I'll red it and bold the key part so you won't miss it this time.

In case explanation is required, which apparently it is, this entire post was a jab at drivers who can't think for themselves, while at the same time having a little fun with CRE.

Your insult receptors are just a little too sensitive. It's okay to defend against obvious BS and nasty rumors, but sometimes you and BatMan take it to an extreme even I haven't hit when defending Swift.

I can laugh at my company. It's a healthy thing to do. You should learn how to do that.

Ms. Sherry. Not to defend BatMan because I find much of what he posts to be infuriating too. But. I am a driver. I lease a truck from IEL and haul for Swift. All of the things you see as "inside knowledge" are things I know about Swift. I have met, in person, no fewer than 20 forum members. They have all seen my truck.

Are you willing to say that I, too, am a corporate office troll going around defending Swift's reputation? I often do, when someone tries to perpetuate a nasty lie they heard from their buddy's uncle, whose best friend's brother was screwed by Swift. I will also stop someone in their tracks when they complain the company did some perceived wrong when it can be shown the person was dealt with fairly and they brought their misfortune on themselves. I know company policy and I know the lease contract. I know the ins and outs of office politics in several terminals and I've made phone calls on behalf of students and drivers who were in over their heads through no fault of their own.

Knowing the company and defending it does not an office jockey make.

However, I do tend to agree with you that he is a bit rabid about it. Unnecessarily. But, again, there are those who would say the same about me.

Okay, point taken. Just understand that your post wasnt as clear as you thought it was. But its cool.

Im not thinnly skinned. Theres alot of idiot England drivers. Sometimes I cant help but wonder why CRE has such a bad reputaion as they do. Most of the drivers they have are about as bright as a burned out light bulb. IMO, I think enough has to be enough when the accidents, oops and uh-oh's by all the newbies starts to cost them money rather than save them money.

As far as Batman, I dont know about him but as far as Im concerned, yeah, in alot of ways, mostly in the past, I did/do get a little defensive when I hear some of the crap said on here because with most of it, I know it aint true. You can understand that. Thats why Ive backed of a lot because it gets old.

Oh, trust me, I do it all the time. Im not perfect, but i dont do some of the dumb things I see.
