I am in a walmart in Norwalk, OH. Ran just about 600 miles today. I have to be near Washington D.C. by 7am Monday. Seems the only truckstop is about 80 miles out though, in Hagerstown, MD. There is a Pilot there. I will probably get started really early as to avoid the D.C. traffic.

Last time I was in WV met my first ever lot lizard. Not hoping to have a second occurrence tonight.

I'm National flatbed, seem to still be some miles for us, though it is a little slower now. Sitting in Gary, head over to Iowa in the morning.

Well, this petroleum in Claysville, PA is a dump. Won't stop here again. Btw, ended last week at payroll cut off with 3,817 miles. That'll be a nice check over the holiday weekend!

    Hey DrFlush,
I saw on the forum that you are on the national flatbed fleet. I just got my conditional offer from Roehl to run on the national flatbed fleet as well. I am hoping to start in Jan. How do you like it? Are you getting good miles? How is the equipment? I currently am a police officer and will be taking a pretty good pay cut, but I want to change careers. Thanks for any info you can give me. Take care, and be safe.

Get to Hagerstown early if you can that place fills up early because of its proximity to DC and being one of the last places to park.

Public Safety to trucking? Personally unless you have to I'd stay with the better paying job that lets you stay at home. I left a 16.00 an hour Municipal Government desk job 3.5 years ago for trucking and have regretted it since.

Yes if you are still currently employed, STAY! I know it can suck, my wife was a Dept. Sheriff for 7 yrs, till medical issues forced her out. I know how rough it can be. But I #### sure wouldnt give that up to be a dirty ole trucker lol..
