I have a '12 Cascadia too, it does do really well on fuel, but it does not seem to pull as well as the Columbias. They have the RPM's limited to 1700 on these trucks and the old trucks were 1800. I find myself taking hills at least one gear lower and alot slower than I used to. My only other gripe with this truck is that the driver side mirror is too low, the spot mirror is useless, and it will not tip up any more. I have to roll down the window and hang out to see, and I am short, a tall person would really have problems. As for the rest of the truck it is okay, rides good, turns very good, a tad bit cold blooded, but that may just be because it is so new.

Well I ran just about 600 miles today. Holing up in a Walmart in Norwalk, OH. Pulled in with 8 minutes left of drivetime! lol. I will be at the Pilot in Hagerstown, MD by like 10 or 11am tomorrow. Its like 80 miles away from the consignee but its like the only truckstop enroute. I have to be in the Wahington D.C. area around 7am Monday morning. I am thinking of getting in there really early to avoid the traffic. Same as going into NYC I suppose.

Yeah you want to get into DC early early early...its a traffic headache....not as bad as NYC (depending on where your going) but it is a PIA to get around (the last time I drove in DC I was in a car) I have been down I95 and the beltline with a truck...and around the alexandria va area...but I would suggest early early cause traffic starts early for the staffers of DC

I have a 12 Prostar, don't really miss the APU like I thought I would, this thing rides better , pulls better, gets better MPG , turns better, is alot quieter, and has more bells and whistles than my old columbia. I think I am in love LOL

I am jealous...but I am sure there are plenty of guys out there with rougher equipment than mine...but what gets me is they are giving New trucks to guys fresh out of school rather than getting some of vet drivers like Notez a new truck and giving those old trucks to the NOOBS (listen to me I can't believe I am calling others NOOBs I am still wet behind the ears..lol)..
