Problem with Galaxy DX 949 Knobs

What I would like to know, is there an apparent known problem with knobs falling off, not staying on the Galaxy DX 949?

Just purchased this radio, haven't received it yet, and then find information on some other forum about this. I hate it when you research and search, and think you've covered everything, to find something after you make a purchase.

I would really appreciate some insight on this.

Thank you, that's what I wanted to hear. I was thinking the post in this other forum, which is a "CB Radio" forum, had to a little bogus.
