I will say I'm sorry to floridagirl.

Never said that I was promised anything other then a job. But the recruiter did lie prior to coming on board. And YES there are companies that pay for all your time. They are there you just have to find them. Like I said before. People are quitting and you must ask yourself why? Its not because of the benefits or the equipment. Hell this is the first company that I have worked for where the benefits are actually affordable, and that is a first.
Floridagirl I hope that it does work out for you and your husband. I just know there are several drivers that are unhappy here.

I just got in the door for my 8am apt. Wooh hoo Detention baby. I just love the market :). Will be late for my 2nd, and 3rd apt, but oh well. Just another day at the office.

LOL @ the recruiter lied. Now that has got to be a trucker story. so I guess he told you. They pay for all your time??? NOTTTTT. I think its more interesting when people say the recruiter tell's the truth.

Wow is that a positive side of tanker man? Maybe that's what Kim seen when she saved your job. I don't know I'll have to ask her about that one.

Don't keep those pay for all your time jobs a secret now. Funny how tanking is such a high demand field and you ended up with JBS? Maybe you signed up for Jbs Tankers. I dunno. Anyway Tanker Yanker. I hope you find your dream job and it makes you happy, and you can brag and pay your bills, and even have enough to donate to the meat haulers :) Have a g day mate!!

10 Days 3 resets and 3565 paid miles, and Yes it can be done here is the schedule.
I left Wednesday at 0600 met ShastMedic in Ruthers Glen, VA drove to Bordentown, NJ, 465 miles Swapped with another driver, Pulled 2nd 34, (first was on Monday until Wed 0600)
Friday 0130 EST I left for Worthington MN,1295 Miles Arrived 0900 Saturday Morning EST, Sat until Sunday at at 21:00 headed for Pleasant Prarie, WI 0800 Deliver Monday morning, DH to Marshalltown, Iowa 395 Miles, Load going to Jarrat Va, and Petersburg VA 1429 loaded miles Delivered Wednesday night 2300, and 0600 Thursday.
That is 3565 in ten days and It sucks considering 4200 in 6 days has been done, a 500 Miles per day average is not hard, nor is a 650 a day average. If things were done properly driver should be taking a reset every 6th day or 7th at the latest. It used to be this way and miles were good, checks were good.

And to call me a "cheerleader" is actually funny if half of you were ever in the office when I was calling in you might change that thought about me being a "JBS" Cheerleader, I know Darrin would tell you different as he catches the most hell from me in regards to Drivers not being happy, the crappy miles, and the Lack of Planning.
He would most likely tell you I am the opposite as I am constantly going to bat for drivers, and Improved conditions, even risking my own job at time.
I am not some sit back and take the #### they feed me guy, I will in a heart beat go to whomever whenever to make #### sure that they are aware of driver issues.
Seems to work most of the time, Ask those who have been moved to different fleets, or are getting run so #### hard they do not have time to come on here...

This might be the reason I am looking to organize a large group so we can have a collective voice.

And for the naysayers uh Packerland did it and for years they had no issue's

    DocRox and tankerman1974 Thank this.

No the recruiter lied about what I was going to be paid per mile. I was told by her that it would be .4r per mile. I still have the email saying so. But anyways. The reason for jbs as it was a means to the end. Meaning being stuck in upstate ny there's not much demand for much of anything other then the need of drivers who's willing to be out for 2-3 weeks at a time and gross $1,000 a week if your lucky. So I no longer live in upstate ny. And while at jbs it allowed me to get out of ny as they hire from all 48 states. So now that I don't live in ny anymore, now I can concentrate on the next move. And as for kim saving my job, please. If they wanted to get rid of me I would of been gone on that weekend. But as you can see I'm still here. With a load of chicken going to california. And further more ask her whatever you want. And please report back on here. Then I will get you both fired for being unprofessional. Its not her place to discuss with you my issues at jbs. So please do ask away. Ask anything you want. I just ask please report back. I have my 1 incident while here. And the company chose to keep me. So you tell me who's the problem.

Doc, I appreciate the call I got from you Friday. Tomorrow I should have the road exam done and will have to decide where to go. I have JBS and Schneider on top of my list but for different reasons (if I go SNI it will be tankers). It is important to hear an opinion from inside the company and not just from a recruiter.
    Thanks.:biggrin_25514:

Not for nothing. But I would goto sni. I would but I don't live in one of there areas to pull there tankers. I have seen some sni jobs paying 60K + a year and at the very least your home every weekend. But if you want otr then I would go jbs. The pay won't be the same. Meaning yea you can make 60k+ a year supposedly. But you give up the hometime.

Rather you agree or disagree with the lockridge report. But I advise anyone who has satellite radio to tune in now. As they are talking about the lack of pay drivers are receiving.
