I am running around 2500 a week average, maybe a little more. The equipment is decent, my first truck was an 07 with around 550k on it when I got it,it was a decent truck, had to get repairs about once a month. I now have a new Prostar. Roehl is replacing a lot of trucks. I pulled van for a little while and then flats, and I will never go back unless I am forced to. As far as leaving your job, I closed a business to go back trucking, and I am glad I did, my kids are all grown and I didn't like running my own business and all the crap that went with it. I could make more as a plumber, but, money isn't everything and I make enough to cover the bills and then some.

    meh88 Thanks this.

I am in the TA in Baltimore. Have to reset in order to get home. rrrr. Oh well. I deliver right down the road from my house at 7am Wednesday and then off till Monday. Woohoo!!!

I would have to pay to park but I fueled up here. Nice! Think I will do my laundry and hit the restaurant later. I need a real hot meal.

    Stay safe all!!!

Sitting in gary waiting for my relay to get here sometime in the morning then heading towards the house. Been out 30 days ready to get home. FM said that when I come back out I'll be making the switch to flatbed. Pretty excited about that.

Sitting in Crossett, AR @ GP with 2 other Roehl drivers. Loads were to be ready between 1130 to 1300 for the 3 of us. They haven't even assigned trailers to the loads. There are 20 bobtails sitting up here on the hill above the inbound road. One driver (another company) has been sitting here since yesterday waiting for the computer to release his load from the dock. Ah detention time.

sitting at a pilot on MO13...had fun going through Arkansas...on the state highways over the ozarks...nice sharp turns, steep as hell hill climbs (3rd-4th gear) and 2 miles of traffic behind the Roehl snail... I would pull over when I could to let them by...I am a nice guy I guess...plus I needed the break here and there just to let loose the stress...(I think the routing computer has gone retarded... it wanted to route me over a 27Ton bridge...I had to find my way around it...)...the joys...

I am in the same boat as Notez...running recaps..have some tight hours but I should make it home for turkey...cant wait to see the kiddos..
