I had the same problem with custom mud flaps. Darn thieves. :biggrin_25516::biggrin_2551::biggrin_25513:

Good to know. I'll keep an eye out.

you mean like falling out, or stolen?

Anyway, no choice in the matter. They installed one without me even asking or inquiring when I got my truck. (it didnt have one when I did the inspect)

I personally have one of these on the front of my truck.

I took out a rather large doe last Wednesday eve by Morris, IL. Clocked that girl good. Just lost the headlight. Not a scratch, dent, or bend of the grill guard. As hard as I hit that doe and the position of the hit, I would have easily been down for a while for repairs. The grill guard cost me $1300 installed. Just need to update my avatar photo now.

Sounds like he made a mistake. Mine don't move at all. If you close the loop around the pin they wont move.

Here's what the guard looks like pulled forward. This has to be done anytime you want to open the hood.

This is what the pins look like that hold the guard up. There are two on both sides.

As you can see, they kind of loop around the middle piece not to mention the guard wanting to move forward, this keeps them pretty secure.

I haven't had any problems with mine moving yet.

I'm guessing the guy didn't close them up right.

Yes, I will be driving for Prime very soon. Does anyone know how much the guards cost? Any more pics of trucks with the deer guard on them?
