All you need is proof that you work for that pass employer(s)you put on your app.Now with mega carriers yeah they can be a pain in the rear end,I always keep my w-2 returns that also can be used as proof but if you didn't pay any taxes while your in deep you know what..I have no issues with getting paid under the table but as long you pay something in taxes you shouldn't have issues.Try calling smaller companies if they can at lease call your prior employers and if your prior employers have any kind of proof you work for them then you should be ok.

Sounds identical to my situation. I just finished PTDI 11/2011 with a WIA grant. This is what I have done. Go on line or message me for an "Affidavit of Self-employment/Unemployment". Fill in the blanks with your info, get professional references ie.) Judge, Attorney, Cop, Nurse, Fireman, Mailman, Preacher, etc. have them sign it when you are getting the affidavit notarized by a notary public.

Yep, and it seems like the trucking companies think we don't read the reg's. Infact it's the other way around. Thay don't read em or at least understand what it states. I mean for example(A man that was homeless for 8 years, found a sack full of money when he was 40 yrs old. He turned it in to the police and goes back each day to see if it was claimed. He gets the money, spends it on CDL school. Goes to apply and the only self-employment or experience other than school in his past 10 yrs was collecting aluminum cans.) Does he get the job? "Well I.... need verifiable work history" the recruiter says.

Now what's more F't up? The homeless man? or the poor guy that lost the sack o money?
